MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and Moppets

Our Children's Minister, Sondra Dutram, also oversees the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers Ministry).

What are Moppets?

Moppet Girl "Moppets" is the children's portion of our MOPS ministry. While our MOPS moms enjoy their morning, their children are being cared for in a loving environment. They are divided into age-appropriate groups in the Children's Building and are involved in planned activities such as games, stories, crafts, music, and physical play. All of our Moppets workers have been carefully screened by both Niceville UMC MOPS members and Niceville UMC staff.

Important Information:

Registration is required for moms and children prior to attending. To register, call Ann at 850-687-3777 or email anndpurdy@yahoo.com.

MOPS meet from 9:30-12:00 in the Community Life Center's 2nd floor Youth Theater. Moppets (children) meet in the Children’s Building. Drop off for Moppets begins at 9:20 a.m.

Meeting Dates for 2012-2013: Sept. 4 (Open House - 9:30-11:00); Sept. 11, Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 13, Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 12, Feb. 26, Mar. 12, Apr. 9, Apr. 23, May 14, and May 28.
