Welcome

Welcome to the Active Adults 50 Plus Ministry of the Niceville United Methodist Church. We warmly welcome you to participate in our activities and programs, as we seek to grow in our love for and obedience to Jesus and in our fellowship with one another. We invite you to join in these opportunities to fellowship, grow and serve. Please call me or stop by the ministry office (Room 704, first floor of the Chandler Building) for a visit if you have any questions!

Highlighted Events:

  • Join us for Blueberry Picking at Shockley Springs, Thursday, June 7th. Departing at 7:30 a.m., we will have lunch at the Gator Cafe, before returning at approx. 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 5, is our next Young at Heart luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Our program will be given by Ashley Bailey, Crime Prevention Specialist, Okaloosa Sheriff's Department. Ashley will update us on the latest scams and frauds. Cost: $5. Please sign up by calling the church office, 678-4411, by noon, Friday, June 1st.
  • July 19, we have a trip to the Planetarium at the Pensacola Christian College. We will see two shows "The Heavens Declare" and "Celestial Stained Glass" and have lunch at the Macaroni Grill. Depart at 9:00 a.m. and return approximately 3:30 p.m. Cost: $10 includes 2 shows and transportation. www.pcci.edu/campus/facilities/planetarium.html
  • Is an ALASKAN CRUISE AND LAND TOUR on your "Bucket List"?? Join us as we experience beautiful Alaska, May 21 - June 1, 2013. We will depart on May 21 for a pre-night in Seattle with tours of Seattle and Vancouver. Costs vary depending on cabin choice and include airfare, all port charges, fees, taxes and transfers. You can reserve your cabin for $530. Final balance is due February 8, 2013. For reservations or more information contact Barbara. Your family, friends and neighbors are invited to join our group!
